This set includes six files to make two variations of the three different lanterns (for a total of 6 lanterns): the lanterns can be made with or without the mix 'n match leaves draping from the bottom.

Without the leaves, the lanterns are completed in one hooping (11,000 to 14,000 stitches for each lantern; 4.7x6.6); the optional leaves are stitched in a second small hooping (5,000 to 7,000 stitches for each set of leaves 4.5x3.6).

The lanterns works very well using a thin semi-transparent cotton challis, with matching organza/tulle leaves. Most fabrics work well for this project, but particularly sheer or semi-sheer fabrics so that the light glows through
