A fun little Easter treat bowl activity for children.

Use white cotton fabric for the egg applique and have them color the Easter egg with crayons or markers before snapping them into their bowl shape to hold some treats.

They are very easy to make using just two pieces of vinyl with one applique piece, one hooping, and five color stops. Assembly is quick and easy using four plastic Kam snap sets or brads.

For the egg applique you can use chalkboard fabric to write a message - liquid chalk pens work great, or white fabric so the kids can color their own bowls, or pretty cotton fabric.

The vinyl (or felt) for the back of the bowl is added last so it covers up the back of the stitches so the bowls look good from all angles.
