These blocks are combinations of applique, trapunto and candlewick designs. The stitch types are also reminiscent of hand embroidery such as Stemstitch, backstitch etc. They are very popular to use for an heirloom quilt for your bed, pillow cases, towels, curtains. In fact any home soft furnishing you can think of. Three shades of colour and three shades of embroidery cotton have been used for creating these divine quilt blocks.

These blocks are embroidered on Taffeta, a satin-type fabric, but all sorts of fabrics such as calico, quilt fabrics etc can be used. Included are some photos of finished blocks.

There are a total of 20 blocks and full instructions have been included with each set. For each block, either four or six designs are arranged around the central design. You will need to be able to print design templates with your embroidery software for the correct placement.

The designs are available for the 180x130mm (5x6inch), 200x140mm (6x8inch) and 255x145mm (6x9inch) sizes in different sets.
