Do you like to send mug rugs as a greeting card? Here is one that will delight rose lovers.
The overall background is stipple quilted and the rose patch is reverse appliqued. This is a simple technique and is explained clearly in the photo instructions. There is a pretty scalloped edge to enhance the applique edge.

This project is entirely completed in the hoop so no additional sewing machine or hand stitching is required.

There are two stitch files in your download - one with the full design and the words Happy birthday and the other with the rose design but no words.
