The mug rug is completely stitched in the hoop with no additional hand or sewing machine stitching required. The background is quilted in a honey comb pattern as part of the embroidery. The sides are embroidered with an attractive border design.

There are two stitch files in your download - one with the full design as shown, the other without the center design so you can insert a design of your own choosing or fussy cut your fabric to be showcased on the mug rug.
