These designs are roughly based on my earlier Crystal Star designs. I have added a lot more features and elements to them, including some blended scrolls which have a patina effect, the green film that develops on copper and bronze over time. This is regarded a beautiful weathering and I am delighted that I was able to capture it in these embroideries. I experimented with several combinations, concluding that Sulky Rayon 1055 Tawny Tan and 1204 Pastel Jade were the best combination.

In this set I have developed the elements from the first set. Design #10 and #11, both linking designs work well together for a panel and design #2 will also create a simple border. There are a variety of stars in these designs and one colour way has the assigned a metallic thread. I prefer to use just a small amount of metallic thread and to embellish with hot fix crystals and stars. Details are given in the accompanying PDF.
