A quick and easy project quilted in the hoop.

Use bright, colorful pieces of fabric to make the tulips. In these images, similar shades are used to make each tulip, but you can choose your favorite combinations. Each piece is individually placed for a creative effect.

The tulip and the leaves are done in the applique method with a satin edging. The stem is embroidered. For the quilting sections, use matching thread to the fabrics or a thread that is a shade darker for a more noticeable effect.

Two designs make up each panel. Each design is made and quilted in the hoop. The tulip panel uses both the applique technique (for the tulip) as well as the sew and flip technique (for the lower green section).

You can make this table runner any length you want by adding additional tulip panels. The instructions included are for a five panel runner. For a longer runner, the borders can be adjusted.
