BackQuilted Haunted House Hanger
Embroidery Weekly

Make this spooky haunted house hanger for Halloween. We used fun printed fabrics and three shades of black fabric to give this hanger dimension. Match your threads to your fabrics to finish off the look.
This hanger is made using the applique technique. The edging stitch used is a feather cover stitch. The feather cover stitch is great as it has a low stitch count and gives the quilt a soft feel when it is finished.

This hanger has eight panels and stitches out fairly quickly. Each panel is made and quilted in the embroidery hoop. The quilting is part of the embroidery design. The panels are joined together and the finishing off of the hanger is done with a sewing machine.

Instructions are included.

For the 5x7, 8x8 and 6x10 hoops
Approximate finished size of the hanger without the hanging loops:
5x7 design – 14 inches x 19.5 inches
8x8 design – 15.5 inches x 23 inches
6x10 design – 17.25 inches x 25.25 inches
