BackQuilted Candy Cane Table Topper

Bring some sweet Christmas cheer to your home with this quilted candy cane table topper.

The pieces are done using the sew and flip technique and the candy canes are done in applique. Each piece is quilted in the hoop. The pieces are joined together with a sewing machine. The backing and binding is also done using a sewing machine.

This is a quick and easy project for a beginner to make. Some sewing knowledge is required. The backing and binding can be done using the traditional method or with the self-binding method. We used the self-binding method as it is quick, neat and there is no hand sewing. Instructions are included.

For the 5x5, 6x6 and 7x7 hoops.
Approximate finishes sizes:
5x5 design: 34.5 x 11.25 inches
6x6 design: 41.5 x 13 inches
7x7 design: 46 x 14 inches

BackApplique Peace In The Home Quilt

Make a quilt of any size by combining blocks together.

Any small floral or picture design to fit the template will work. I used complimentary shades of fabric for the remaining fabric pieces.
The applique fabric pieces are edged with satin stitching in thread colors to match the fabric.

Each block is made from four design pieces. Four blocks combine to make the quilt. Each design piece is made on an embroidery machine and the quilt assembly is done with a sewing machine.

You can make this quilt bigger if you wish by adding more blocks.

Templates are included.
