The Poinsettia Table Topper is done using the applique method with machine embroidery.

Templates are provided for cutting the fabric. Each piece of fabric includes a seam allowance. The raw edges of fabric are covered with a decorative satin edging where needed.

Only 3 fabric colours are needed to make all the panels. Ten panels are needed to make the Poinsettia Table Topper.


Clear photo instructions with templates and an assembly diagram are included.

You will need a sewing machine to stitch the design pieces together to form the table topper. The backing fabric which at the same time, also forms the binding, is done with a single row of stitching right round the table topper by sewing machine to complete the Poinsettia Table Topper. This is a real time saver!
