A Tutorial for any Embroidery Software.
This new tutorial by Heather Snow is a generic tutorial called "Amazing Applique" which introduces several different applique concepts, including 3-dimensional applique with fringe, "traditional" applique, reverse applique (using her NEW snowflakes), and invisible applique. There is one snowflake design included with the tutorial.
This booklet will teach you how to digitize and embroider several different types of applique. There are a few tricks that you will learn that will give you perfect results every time. It's fun and easy to take embroidery designs and turn them into applique! After you learn the basics of creating appliqué, reverse appliqué and invisible appliqué, you'll learn how to make 3-dimensional appliqué with fringe.
This lesson is written for any embroidery software. This means that generic terms like single outline stitch and satin stitch are used rather than telling you exactly where to point and click in your software. Please make sure that you are familiar with how to create a single outline stitch, a satin outline stitch, and a step fill (or fancy fill) stitch using your software. You should also know how to change your stitch length, satin stitch width, and satin stitch density. These are the main digitizing tools that you will use to create the appliqué.
The tutorial is 33 pages long and can be read and printed with Acrobat Reader
