This Australian Windowpane Handkerchief is the first in her series of "Elegant Endeavors". This pretty handkerchief has a sheer teardrop center framed by a band of colored linen with wing needle embroidery stitches that makes it very delicate and dainty. The edges are hemmed using fine machine sewing with a wing needle and purchased tatting is applied resembling hand stitches (but of course it was all done on a machine).
