Hope shows you how to sew the bag, embroider the Cathedral Lace Windows and make the rope handles. You will also receive a pattern to make the bag from.
This elegant petite evening bag can be made out of linen, silk or cotton fabrics and uses a variety of notions and techniques. The hot pink purse shown is made of Essex linen which is quilted using a walking foot. The top is embellished with embroidery, gingham piping and Swarovski crystals which are applied using a decorative wand. The handles were created from strips of bias gingham fabric which are filled with cord using Fasturn Tubes. This downloadable PDF tutorial comes with an embroidery design from the Heirloom Embellishments Cathedral Lace Windows set. The design fits in 5”x7” hoop size. The finished size of the purse is 9" x 8" (not including handles).
